What is Bharat Jodo Yatra?

Bharat Jodo Yatra is organized by the Congressional Government from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. Which will lead through 12 states and 2 union territories. It starts from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu. In this padayatra more than 100 guides will walk from beginning to end with Rahul Gandhi whose list has been prepared. It also includes the party’s media and public relations chief, Pawan Kheda, and youth leader, Kanhaiya Kumar. 100-100 people from the states of the country through which this yatra will not pass, these people will be “guest yatris”, and 100-100 people from the states through which this yatra will pass will also join the yatra. These people are called “Pradesh Yatris”. Only 300 pedestrians can join the yatra at a time. Bharat Jodo Yatra is a celebration of the unity of India and a festival of hope open to all people of India to participate in. Bharat Jodo Yatra started in Kanyakumari

Bharat Jodo Yatra was launched by Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu on September 7th by Congress President Rahul Gandhi showing the green flag. Before beginning this Padyatra, Rahul Gandhi reached the martyrdom of his father, former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, and paid tribute to him. Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot ji and Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel ji were present during the visit along with Rahul Gandhi. This padyatra, which lasts 150 days, i.e. 5 months, is run in two shifts, the first shift starting at 10:30 a.m. and the second shift starting at 3:30 a.m. 22 to 23 kilometers should be covered in one day.

All pedestrians will sleep in containers

60 containers were prepared for Bharat Jodo Yatra. In this 150-day Padyatra, all Padyatris including Rahul Gandhi will sleep in containers. These containers are brought to a village and set up during the rest period. Air conditioning systems were also installed in some of these containers. According to the information, the pilgrims will eat the local foods of the village they will pass through. Only the villagers will prepare this food. No leader will stay in the hotel.
