The LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2022 was established by the Life Insurance Corporation of India to provide higher education to students from economically weaker parts of the country. Under this program, Life Insurance Corporation India provides a scholarship to deserving students to pursue further education after passing Class 12. Under this 2022 LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Program, students will be selected based on their 10th and 12th grade grade percentage (student selection based on their 10th and 12th grade percentages).

LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Program for Special Girls

The LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Program for Special Girls was created with the aim of encouraging the girl to pursue further education. Through this program, an amount of ₹10000 will be made available to the eligible girl in three installments over a period of 2 years. This amount will be allocated for the 11th and 12th grades after the girl has passed the 10th grade. All girls who have achieved 60% or more points in Class X and their parents’ annual income is ₹200000 or less are eligible to apply to this program.

Important facts about LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2022

20,000 per year is awarded to regular scholars selected for scholarship under this program. This scholarship is awarded to the students in quarterly installments.
10,000 is awarded to regular special girls studying in selected 10+2 courses per year and the scholarship is paid in three quarterly instalments.
The scholarship awarded to the selected scholarship recipient under this LIC Scholarship 2022 will be transferred to the beneficiary’s bank account via NEFT.
Therefore, if a candidate from an economically weaker area is selected for the scholarship, bank account details and a canceled check copy with IFSC code and beneficiary’s name must be provided.
Students in the state can apply online as part of the LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2022 until December 24 (last date for online application is December 24, 2019).

Conditions for Obtaining the LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship

The program is evaluated by LICGJF at regular intervals.
The detailed procedure for processing and approval of the scholarship will be determined by the LIC Golden Jubilee Foundation.
The program guidelines are subject to change by the department at any time.
If the scholarship was obtained by a student by entering incorrect information, in this case the scholarship will be canceled and the amount paid will be reclaimed.
If the students violate any of the terms and conditions of the scholarship, the scholarship will be suspended or cancelled.
The student must attend school regularly.
Only one student from one family will benefit from this program.

LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Rate and Duration

Under this program, an amount of ₹20000 per year in 3 installments will be made available to the selected student.
An amount of ₹10000 per year is provided in three installments through this program for the selected special girl studying in the 10+2 course.
