About 4,000 girls between the ages of 11 and 18 receive an education through this program. Anganwadi employees are also incentivized to provide counseling and referrals to beneficiaries. Efforts are being made to provide formal education for the daughters through Kanya Shiksha Pravesh Utsav. Such a program was also run in the past, benefiting 11.88 thousand girls in 2018-19. But by 2021 that number has dropped to 5.03 lakhs.
